Amnesia by Advanced Seeds is a complex genetic strain with varying flavors, due to the fact that this particular strain has distinct phenotypes in which taste may vary. It’s known for being one of the fastest, most productive sativas in the world. It comes from a Haze that was cross-bred repeatedly with different varieties of indica and afghans, which allows the plant to cut down on the amount of time it spends flowering and increase its production rate, while still being highly potent.
If you want to grow this strain indoors, you’ll end up with an unsurmountable plant that won’t stop growing right up until the last few weeks, which is why we recommend decreasing the amount of time you dedicate to feeding your plant. It doesn’t produce a lot of branches, so we recommend you take advantage of the extra space that you’ll have and plant up to 16 plants per m² and prune the lower branches to increase how much bud you’ll get out of the main stem. It usually takes about 10 weeks to flower, although some phenotypes may take a bit longer, but they’ll make up for it in potency.
Outdoor growing is where this beauty really shines. Thanks to its resistance to temperature changes and its capacity to adapt to its surroundings, you’ll end up with gigantic plants no matter where you plant them, especially if there is a lot of light. They can grow up to 3m tall if you plant them in the ground, feed them correctly and protect them from infestations. You can get a harvest of up to 750g from just one plant, which should be ready to harvest around the middle of October.
The taste is where you’ll be able to tell the difference between the phenotypes. All of them have a kind of incense aftertaste, although some of them will vary between sweet and citric tones. The sweet tones combined with the incense aftertaste make this plant an extremely unique strain, with a flavor that might remind you of licorice, while the more citric-tasting phenotypes have a much more intense flavor and might remind you of lemon skin. The effect it produces is a happy, slightly stimulating one, intensifying your creativity and curiosity.
