Orange Bud is a 100% Skunk by the seed bank Dutch Passion. It's one of the best strains by this bank and it's been selected from the 80's. It's a very powerful and stable strain, very easy to grow. It's suitable for indoor or outdoor cultivation, in any kind of growing media, whether it's soil, coco or hydro. Its produces loads of dense and thick buds covered with crystals and orange hairs. Orange Buds is one of the 5 best-sellers of the bank.
Indoors, we can use the Sea of Green (SoG) technique. It'll be easy for us to get an average of 550g per m2. Setting 16-20 plants directly at 12h will be sufficient. It can also be grown from cuttings, using a good amount of them and doing a SoG. We'll harvest it after 55 days, more or less 9 weeks later. Another option would be to put 4 to 5 plants and a net, allow for a longer vegetative development and do a SCRoG. In this way, we'll get a similar yield with fewer plants.
This plant is very easy to grow so it doesn't require any special care. Growers who are just getting started will find Orange Buds brings them a great opportunity for learning, allowing them to make some mistakes without ruining their crop entirely and getting quite good results in all cases.
Outdoors, this strain is harvested at the beginning of October. It needs abundant sun in order to grow and bloom properly. When planted directly in the ground, this plant will grow healthy and strong. It becomes tall fast. It's better to start using fertilizers once the flowering period has started. This plant grows well by feeding just on the nutrients present in the substrate and perhaps with the help of some organic manure such as guano with nitrogen. If we do everything as we're meant to, our seedling will grow properly and enough before the start of the bloom. At the end of the cycle, we'll be able to reap up to 500g of delicious, resinous and very special buds.
This Skunk releases a sweet aroma with floral touches and has a background similar to nectar. It releases a fragrance somehow in between the perfumes of oranges and lemons. As for the taste, it's mainly bittersweet, between tropical and orange citrus, something like apricot or mango. It contains minty and spicy touches. All of this comes with a muddy and refined background that stays in the mouth. It has a perfectly balanced mind-body effect. It's psychedelic, edifying, hilarious, relaxing and introspective with regard to its psychological effect. Physical effects are mainly narcotic. It also increases appetite and decreases muscular pain. It produces drowsiness which makes it ideal for people with insomnia or for those willing to relax after a hard day.
