pH Down

pH Down by GHE is a compound designed to decrease the acidity of the nutrient solution with a mix of nitric acid, phosphoric acid and organic regulators.

The acidity level is very important because your plants find it difficult to assimilate nutrients outside a narrow range that moves between 5.3 to 6.5, depending on the development stage of your plants and the medium where they’re growing in.

If you want to lower the of your irrigation water, you need an acid to do so. You need a product that will lower the pH and stay stable for a few days, not having to correct it again and again. That product doesn’t exist yet, but with pH Down by General Hydroponics Europe, the level changes slightly, just the minimum, so it won’t have a negative effect even if you let it stand for a few days.

Dosage and usage by pH Down by GHE:

• Measure your irrigation water’s pH.
• If you have to lower it, add a small dose and stir.
• Measure again and check whether it’s correct or if you should continue adding more.
• Doing this little by little, you’ll make sure that you don’t go too low, not needing to rise the pH again.

You’ll be doing this quite a lot until you get used to the irrigation water.
