California Hash Plant by Dinafem is a strain that’s perfect for beginners and for difficult grow conditions, as it isn’t delicate in the least and it does really well in cold climates. It’s very fast-flowering and stable, designed for growers that want indica strains but can’t grow them due to bad weather or rot. It can be grown both indoors and outdoors, giving amazing results in both mediums.
Indoors these plants tend to concentrate most of their yield on the tips of the branches and on the central stem, so you shouldn’t grow it too tall or it might reach the lights. You’ll need to make sure that the tips of the branches point upwards in order to receive more light. One way to do this is to plant clones in 3.5L pots and right after rooting, set them to flower. Another way to get more yield, is by using a SCRoG system to make sure the branch tips are all on the same level. It will be ready in just 50-55 flowering days, rewarding your hard work with around 450g per square meter.
Outdoors it does well under pretty much any weather conditions; in warm areas you’ll get larger plants with more yield, and in colder areas you’ll get smaller plants and less yield but much more resin. Keep in mind that it doesn’t like excessively warm climates where they can actually suffer quite a lot. It’s quite resistant to issues that can cause stress, although due to the density of the flowers we recommend you use preventive measures early on to prevent mildew and rot. It grows resinous, heavy buds – take care with end of summer rains. We recommend that you train the branches just to make sure that its heavy buds stay safe. Towards the end of September your plants will be ready to harvest, and you can get 0.9-1kg from just one plant.
It has a wonderful hash, earthy flavor which smokers who love intense tastes will love. It has a physically neutralizing effect, super narcotic and more than capable of couch-locking you within a few drags. Perfect for those that have a lot of stress in their life.
