California Kush is a strain that was developed in California by expert geneticists. The amount of resin this plant produces is incredible, making it the perfect candidate for BHO and hash extracts. It grows well in pretty much any kind of substrate and loves artificial lighting as well as natural lighting. You’ll soon fall in love with the amazing, giant buds on this plant.
Indoors you can place two strains and grow using the SCRoG system, or you can place up to 25 plants and do a SoG; both techniques give amazing results. We recommend starting with a classic grow, where you should place 4 11L pots to 9 7L pots so that they can fit under the light and they don’t end up bumping into each other. You’ll be mesmerized by its amazingly resinous buds, and you can get up to 450g per square meter if you know what you’re doing.
Outdoors, these plants grow to a medium size, reaching about 2.5m tall. You should train the branches so that the buds can grow nice and fat. Plant them in a sunny area facing south so they can grow as much as possible. You can get up to 400g per plant in optimal conditions.
It has a typical, classic marijuana smell that is accompanied by a thick, satisfying smoke. It’s quite fast to take effect, making for a relaxing sensation that can be quite long-lasting.
