More product information
Mendocino Skunk by Paradise Seeds is a plant that has strong branches and grows vigorously in almost any place you plant it. It was recently created by the R&D department at the Dutch seed bank thanks to the high demand for American/Dutch strains. After a long selection period, this strain has been stabilized and now grows perfectly balanced, healthy plants. It’s relatively easy to grow; thanks to its Skunk side, which gives it extra resistance to fungi and pests.
Indoors, these plants smell an awful lot so you’ll have to cover that up with an ozonator or powerful air fresheners. Even if you don’t have much space, you’ll still be able to grow a few plants, completely bud filled. A lot of growers confirm that this strain gives the most powerful, potent extractions that they’ve ever tried, so if you’re into homemade BHO or Hash, give Mendocino Skunk a try. You’ll get about 500g with 7 plants per square meter, which have a total flowering period of 50 days.
Outdoors, these plants do extremely well in the ground, growing up to 3m tall without any issues. You can also plant this strain in balconies and the like, but in 11-18L pots if you have enough space. Around the end of September you should get a decent amount of top quality buds, full of top quality resin. This strain tends to do well in any sort of climate, although in Mediterranean areas you can get up to 900g per plant.
This strain has a fruity taste with a subtle earthy undertone, with a pecan nut aftertaste. The effect is quite smooth to begin with, with a clear psychoactive, laugh-inducing effect, with a more narcotic effect when coming down.
- Sativa/Indica: 40/60%
- Flowering: 7-8 weeks, towards the end of September.
- Height: 0.6-1.2m indoors, 1.2-3m outdoors.
