Mendocino Purple Kush by Medical Seeds grows tall plants that are perfect for outdoor growing – indoors it might get a bit out of control unless you use a SCRoG system. Purps, a plant from Mendocino, Humboldt, CA, was crossed with a Purple Kush known for its color and intense narcotic high – as well as its enormous amounts of resin.

Indoors it’ll take 9-10 weeks to flower. You can get various phenotypes, and the more purple the plant the sweeter it will taste. The greener plants will have more of a Kush flavor. The peculiar thing about this plant is its feeding habits – it doesn’t like too much food and if you overfeed it you can end up ruining a lot of your yield.

Outdoors they’ll be ready to harvest towards the beginning of October, producing up to 600g per plant. It produces a whole lot of resin all over every single leaf, making for a plant that sparkles in the sun. It grows large, heavy branches – but don’t worry about training as it’s more than strong enough to deal with the weight of the buds.

It gives a strong high due to its high amounts of THC, and the CBD in it will give you a nice relaxing come down. It has an intense flavor that goes from Kush to sweet, depending on the phenotype.

  • Sativa/Indica: 40/60%
  • Flowering: 65-70 days indoors, end of September/beginning of October outdoors.
  • Height: 0.9-1m indoors, 1-2.1m outdoors.
