Artic Sun

Artic Sun Regular by Flying Dutchmen is a sativa-dominant strain, very popular among regular customers of this seed bank. It's a cross of Skunk#1 and White Widow. These genetics bring it a very good flavour, a large amount of resin and considerable potency. It's a tall plant, with an elegant and robust demeanour, which will adapt well to any growing context. It's robustness makes it easy to grow. However, experienced growers recommend paying particular attention to ventilation. It works better in sunny and warm climates where, if planted in good soil, can grow beyond 2m high.

Indoors, Artic Sun grows fast and develops many branches. It's recommended to plant it from cutting, using the SoG technique. In this way, we'll prevent it from growing in excess, becoming out of control. With a good amount of plants per m2 we'll get a massive production. Once we change the photoperiod to 12h, it'll take about two months and a half to flower given that, grown under the lamps, it'll produce a larger amount of resin and a more intense body effect.

Outdoors, this plant grows fast, absorbing a maximal amount of sunlight since it needs it to unleash all its potential. It prefers warm climates but resists somehow higher temperatures and drier environments. Its sativa contribution makes it bloom a bit later. However, it is quite resistant to pests and harsh conditions. This genetics is really strong and healthy. Besides, when planted directly in the soil, it'll grow fast giving us a wild production.

The soft smoke of this plant is easy to inhale; it doesn't induce coughing while it produces a strong stimulating effect, both at physical and cerebral level. In occasions, Artic Sun is used for its antidepressant medicinal properties. The scent is strong, like Skunk, while the flavour can be described as muddy and spicy with some sweet touches.
