Northern Lights # 5 x Haze Regular by Sensi Seeds has a well-deserved reputation as this atypical hybrid, exhibits completely sativa characteristics and is not dominated by its Afghani ancestor.
Indoors, you can set them directly to flower after germination. In this way, we will make up for the vegetative development stage and it'll be ready in 75 days of flowering. We can expect to collect up to 500g with about 8 plants per m2. Its flowers are clusters of thick calyces, which are fatter as a result of the cross with NL#5, but which don't modify the type of Haze flower. It shortens the inter-nodes and produces somehow longer branches which expose all their tips to the sun so that they can develop perfectly. Its vigor dying the bloom makes it become covered almost entirely with colas of buds in all directions. Some of the colas are so thick, they can be bigger in diameter than the grower's arm. This variety performs much better when grown from cutting, since you'll be able to make it flower directly without going through the vegetative stage and you could grow shorter but thicker plants.
Outdoors, plants grow tall and slender, looking almost prehistoric, as the sativa dominance will result in truly monstrous specimens with thousands of flowers. Strong and long stems create a unique structure easy to manicure; leading to abundant and profitable crops, where strong smell of solvent prevails. It's very penetrating and one of the distinctive characteristics of this strain. Growing it outdoors, it will be ready by the end of October, and we advise being patient since the optimum harvesting time tends to be towards the last days of the month. We should even leave it to ripen until November, if the weather allows for it. It's possible to reap fruitful crops of 800g from a single plant.
