HBS vacuum pumps are perfect for using alongside a desiccator chamber in order to purge butane gas from your oil extracts – if this process is skipped, your extract will never be fully pure and will still have gas residues in it.

BHS vacuum pumps are used in order to get rid of any butane residues in your oil extracts, making for a cleaner and much purer final product that has a more intense flavor. If you don’t dry out your extract properly it can become sticky and hard to handle. When vacuum purged, the resulting material is much purer and of higher quality.
All you have to do is connect your pump to a desiccating chamber and place your BHO extract inside – the time you’ll need to purge it for depends on the amount of BHO still left in it. You’ll know that it’s completely free of butane residues once it starts creating bubbles.
These pumps come in two different powers in order to be used with different desiccators. We have 6CFM and 10 CFM models, both quite silent when compared to other pumps.
We recommend using it in 15 min on/off intervals without letting air into the desiccator – if you use it for too long constantly you might accidentally damage the membranes in charge of the vacuum process, which could ruin your oil or burn it up.
