Basic Nutrient Controller

Basic nutrient controller to keep irrigation water parameters under control. It will add fertilizers to the  nutrient solution according to the values we set and will adjust pH so that the system works perfectly for 24 h a day. It is ideal in hydroponic systems where Ec and pH fluctuates constantly.

It consists of a piece of equipment with integrated screen and controls. It lets us fix the ideal parameters, according to the growing stage our plants are at. A probe will measure pH and Ec constantly, while the system will add fertilizers if pH must be lowered or increased and Ec adjusted. It includes two pumps: one for the fertilizers and another one just to control acidity.

No matter whether water is recirculated or not, Ec will always go down unless we add salts to the water. The system will inject nutrients into the system according to the values we prescribe. We can set the amount added by each pump, so that both pumps add the same proportion of each fertilizer or each pump adds a different amount.

The pH level will only go up or down when we prepare the nutrient solution, depending on the PH of the water we add to the tank. The controller will add the acid progressively to prevent pH from rise up or fall down over the 24 hours.

This controller will help us keep irrigation water under control and this will be very helpful for our plants. Keeping the right values of pH and Ec permanently will result in better nutrient intake and maximum development. Properly fed plants means good productions so the weight and quality of our harvest will benefit considerably too. Convenient and easy to use.

Instructions for use:

• Fix the control panel and the pumps to the wall. Fix the collector with the tube at the bottom part.
• The collector will gather the outlet pipes of the pumps since this is how they work best: ie. in a straight line, with no bendings between the pump and the collector.
• Connect the probes to the collector as per indicated in the insructions manual.
• Put the plummets at the edges of the tubes and introduce them in the corresponding jars. The pump tube will suction the pH-regulating acid while the other two pipes will absorb the different fertilizers we are going to use - most commonly, an A+B nutrient solution.
• When it comes to prime the pumps so that the circuits are filled, don't hurry. These pumps work at a slow but sound pace. As soon as pressure is enough, the liquid will rise inside. Keep in mind, dosage is done almost drop by drop, so be patient.
• Just set the values on the digital screen and the controller will take care of the rest.
