Kenex Infinity has two weighing and accuracy options; 0.01g to 200g (most of other scales only measure up to 100g) and from 0.1g to 1,000g (most of other scales only measure up to 500g-600g). That makes it ideal for bulky things that weigh little, or for stuff that weighs a lot and take up little space. Various measurement formats (g, oz, ozt, dwt, ct and gn).

It comes with a very light weighing plate of 8.5cm in diameter in order to remove some weight since the containers we usually use already take up some of the weighing capacity of the scale once tared. This plate weighs very little so you can weigh greater weights. Also, its weighing tray is made of stainless steel, a very durable and easy to clean material.

The buttons are hidden in the body of the scale, you just have press a button located in the front so that they all come out thanks to a retractable system. Sometimes you have to help them out. That’s because the spring isn’t very strong, which prevents the breaking of the system, as it happens with other scales. To hide the buttons again, just push them until a click is heard.

It has a calibration function, although it’s factory calibrated. Turn it on and press the Mode button for 3 seconds, until the word Cal is displayed. Accept with button C and it will ask for a concrete weight. Place it on the tray and the calibration will begin. This process usually isn’t needed because the scale doesn’t decalibrate, unless it receives a strong blow or if you try to measure too much weight. It will require a weight of 1g or the maximum of the scale, depending on the model.

It also has a counting function which is useful to quickly count an indeterminate number of units. You can place 25 thumbtacks so it can calculate the average weight. Then, you can place an undetermined number of thumbtacks and it’ll count them for you. It’s used a lot to count coins or even bills.
To use this function, just turn it on and, once it is ready to weigh, press the C button for a few seconds until the letters PCS and a number (usually 50) are displayed on the screen.
With the Mode button, choose the number of pieces you’re going to sample (25, 50, 75 or 100). Place the pieces on the scale and press C to select the number of pieces that you’ve placed.
Once done, remove the pieces and it will be ready to count. Now, just place the pieces you want to count and the scale will do it for you.

Many scales are also damaged if you place too much weight on it, but this scale’s protected against overloads, so that even if you exceed their maximum weight, the scale won’t break. The included weighing plate also serves as a protective cover, so you can carry or better store your scale.

It works on two AAA batteries included with your scale, so you can use it right away.
