The Matrix reflector is a reflector made of pearl aluminium that spreads the light homogeneously and that draws out much of the heat emitted by the bulb.

There’s an opening in its upper part through which the heat of the bulb will come out. It has a diameter of 125mm so you can connect an extractor and remove that heat. It’s meant for large rooms and requires an ozonizer so that no odor s come out via the heat extractor.  

Thanks to the Matrix, the lamp can be closer to the plants without burning them and without affecting the light quality, because cooltubes do sacrifice some light in exchange for maintaining a more stable temperature.

Because of its shape, the heat will escape from the top without anything else, but an extractor will always help.

If you have only one or two lights (since there’s only one model and is able to take out 650m3) you can place the filter in-line, which will get rid of the smell.

It’s also very light, so you can mount it to the aluminium frame of your grow tent without the need of pulleys.
