Cannabiogen brings us the commercial version of Panama, born of the cross of three excellent landrace strains of Panama and Colombia. This sativa-dominant hybrid is easy to grow. From the seeds, we'll get a strong and robust plant. It's very pure and Old School. It develops long and resistant buds. If we take care of it and give it enough sun exposure we'll be able to get very good productions. Since it's a very old genetics, the ratio buds/leaves is not particularly good and you'll find quite a lot to manicure. However, this plants finishes its cycle completely filled with resin and will allow us to get a good hash out of it.
Indoors, either you intertwine it in a SCRoG net or do seedlings. Otherwise, you won't be able to grow it indoors since it's likely to reach the ceiling after its 12-week flowering. By doing a SCRoG it'll only flower at its central part while the rest of it will remain undeveloped. The most important aspect to remember with Panama regular is to keep its size under control. In order to do this, some growers choose to set seedlings at 12/12h from the sowing time.
Outdoors, Panama needs long summers and loads of sun. It's recommended to plant it in climates as similar as possible to its native tropical one. We must find a good soil where to plant it. It much prefers to be planted directly in the ground with a well-prepared substrate. Providing we do all this, we'll get a plant that grows amazingly. Panama regular will be ready for harvesting by mid-November. Its plants can easily produce beyond 1kg. Being a sativa plant, the flowering can sometimes take longer and the harvest take place in December.
Its flavours are very tropical, sweet and tasty, like a blending of spices and pineapple. Some muddy touches are also noticeable. The effect is psychoactive and smiley as it used to be in the past. It's little or not narcotic at all. This is one of the strains hippies used to smoke in the 70's and now you can also smoke it thanks to Cannabiogen.
